Our Story
Tai Tai Pie Pies: A Slice of Happiness in Hong Kong
Founded by R.J. Asher from Illinois, USA, in 2010, Tai Tai Pie Pies began with a mission: to create the most "proper" pies and American comfort cakes in Hong Kong.
Our journey started in R.J.'s home kitchen, where his passion for pies inspired him to share his childhood favorites with Hong Kong.
From farmers' markets to our online shop and retail outlet at Great Food Hall, we are proud to have become the go-to place for a proper chicken pie, minced pie, and festive treats like pumpkin pie, apple pie, and pecan pie.
Most likely, you’ve probably enjoyed our pies at a friend’s Thanksgiving table or our delicious pecan bites as an afternoon snack at the office.
