Tai Tai Pie Pies is a unique business that stemmed from a man's passion and love for a golden pie in 2010. Having grown up in an environment that gave way to apples and cinnamon, strawberry and rhubarb, pecan and brown sugar, all tucked into a crust, owner R.J. Asher saw a lack in the local market. Little did he realize that it would become one of the staples in many Hong Kong families.
Now in his 2,500 square foot state-of-the-art kitchen located in Fo Tan, New Territories, Chef R.J., along with his team, is still hand-making every filling and hand-crimping every pie before it gets baked and delivered fresh to your door. For those who would like to purchase frozen items in advance, the kitchen is also equipped with the most advanced chilling and conservation system to ensure the freshness of the products. All you need to do is to thaw and re-heat.
As of July 2013, Tai Tai Pie Pies has expanded into the retail sector! So for those who find buying in a shop more convenient, here is your chance to try one of Chef R.J.'s famous pies. With over 50 different flavors and at least three different sizes for you to choose from, who needs to make dinner or bring dessert for home? Also a yummy lunch option!
